This makeover is really a study changing everything, without changing a thing! And by that I mean working with what you have. Many of the items in this room were here before, we just gave some of them a new face. The biggest item we re-purposed was the rug. It is a beautiful aubusson that my client did not want to part with. And yet the client felt the room was dark and did not reflect her lifestyle or needs. So instead of pulling the obvious colours from the rug I looked hard and decided to ignore the taupe and red, instead pulling the grey, cream and yellows for a fresher and lighter feel.
