Transitional

This once dark and tired farm house kitchen is now a bright, functional and beautiful space to be in. We kept the sink in the same spot but by removing a narrow island and shifting the fridge and wall ovens to the opposite wall, placing the induction cook top and chimney hood on the end of the L it created better flow and lots of room to move around in. The overall idea look was to be a modern take on a country kitchen which was achieved with soft white cabinetry, light grey quartz counter tops and backsplash tile are a perfect contrast to the medium hardwood floors. Mullion glass doors, 4” crown moulding and a simple detailed shaker door also add to the subtleness while the stainless modern appliances and polished chrome hardware add the contemporary touch the home owner was after.
