TRADITIONAL INDIAN AND CONTEMPORARY DESIGN FOR THIS BANGALOW INTERIOR | art emot
art emotion interior studio’s latest project, Mai, is located in one of the finest luxury communities in Thane. Spread across three floors, with an area of 3,700 sqft, the bungalow is a complete culmination of contemporary design with an earthy touch. Cladding and woodwork, glass, and wallpaper are used in certain areas to give the space warmth, yet enhance its opulence.
Neutral colors are primarily set throughout the house. The bungalow is customized to suit details befitting the lifestyle of the residents. Right from the entrance up to the décor and styling, every corner of this house reflects the personality of the owner, who owns the place.
LIVING AREA:
The materials and colors used in the formal living area on the ground floor are very warm and welcoming. A soothing Light color did the magic of bringing a lot of warmth and coziness to the space.
The spiral wooden staircase is the highlight of the house that adds character to the space by breaking the monotony of straight lines. The living staircase as an element separates the formal living room from the dining area, serving as the focal point of the home.
For our client, who is an art lover and collector, we used their paintings to compliment the rest of the space seamlessly. The living room is the space the client used most for family bonding time. To create a calm and serene vibe, a deep tone of blue was used to highlight the wall, while the other elements were kept neutral.
GUEST BEDROOM:
The guest bedroom on the ground floor is a great definition of plush.
DINING AREA:
A statement dining table was love at first sight for the client, alongside which the other elements were curated.
BEDROOM:
Following the design thread of the tropics, the wallpaper in the master bedroom blends harmoniously with the nature-inspired theme. While minimalism binds the space, orchestrating an unusual and artistic character in the space. A nuanced creation of elements all works together with seamless cohesion.
The daughter’s bedroom was designed to her likes with space wallpaper. A wall-to-wall bookshelf was customized with wallpaper to give it a den vibe.
The bungalow is a handpicked curation of furniture, materials, textures, colors, fabrics, and décor. Various moods of lighting are created to make the best use of space. Decorative lighting has been carefully picked to enhance the overall space.
