Kitchen extended to open out to the private courtyard and provide more generous space for family dining. Horizontal lines exaggerated by extending the kitchen wall bench the full length of the kitchen and dining and keeping it uncluttered by confining taller storage units and refrigerator to one end of the room (behind the photographer).
