We designed this space to include two large base cabinets on each side of the range top and two large drawers for extra storage for those large pots and pans. When designing the Island We made sure to add some shelving so the home owner had a great place for her favorite cook books close by. the island also includes pull out double trash can cabinet and a microwave base cabinet.
