Shades of blue Drawing Room

I am thrilled to share one of the recent projects we have completed. My client had done a wonderful job of renovating her large period property but was stuck when it cam to this large open plan room which has multiple uses - from entertaining large parties to piano lessons and homework for the teenagers! The room could take substantial sized furniture which we used to zone the different areas whilst maintaining a uniform feel throughout to tie the room together. Following on from the rest of the house we continued a coastal feel with a modern country edge. Opulent textures and traditional style furniture has been used in conjunction with a variety of fun patterns and fabrics to add a soften this formal room whilst adding a modern edge. The result is a space that feels both spacious and cosy and all the while truly timeless.
