Screened Outdoor Living

Living room inside the screened porch. Roof shape is kept low on the west side to make the space more intimate feeling. Ceiling joists and decking are cypress. Interior walls are ipe. Floor is stained concrete. The table picks up on the bird theme. Wall sconces are by Hubbardton Forge. Cove lighting illumines the ceiling of the room, while beam-mounted downlights illumine the table. This project was beautifully built by CG&S Design-Build in Austin. Photo ©Paul Finkel
