The clients had a dining table with four chairs and a single wooden bench which we decided to place against the wall. But to prevent any damage or scraping of the wall, we panelled the entire length in maple strips, topped with a 5" border of honne wood. The honne border was polished to match the adjacent archway. We then hung a cushioned backrest using a regular curtain rod supported by wooden brackets
