The red field of the unusual antique oriental rug along with the red that is a major color in most of the canvases instigated the use of red accents throughout the space. The beloved, inherited antique wood frame, pull up chairs were lacquered in lipstick red and upholstered in a contemporary woven fabric featuring stylized exotic birds. Swarovski crystal sconces flank the transitional buffet.
