Overall Garden View to Perimeter Fence

This view of the overall garden shows the transition from the back door to the new deck/landing, to the blue stone patio and surrounding lush shade garden. A new custom tall stepped fence with a narrow trellis top creates privacy from the street and tall apartment buildings across the street. The dark stained existing stairs from the back door were interrupted and cut off to create a new low/mid-level deck and landing. Shade plants were selected for a lush tropical look, including Akebia vine on the trellis, Blue Bamboo, Sword Ferns, Star Jasmine, Ficus vines, Thyme Leafed Fuchsia, tall White Bolivian Fuchsia in the corner, Liriope and Baby's Tears.
