NYC Apartment for Art Collector

In the dining area, the Regency table and chairs and the Georgian chandelier underscore that one does not need to live in a sterile white box in order to display art effectively. We designed a hexagonal area rug to help differentiate the dining area from the transition spaces surrounding it. Some of the paintings we selected for this area have golden and yellow tones, as opposed to the stronger orange and rust of those in the living room. The colors of the fabric and the area rug reflect this difference.
