New House - Glen Iris

An open plan ensuite off the master bedroom provides privacy to shower and toilet, which are both concealed behind the central vanity wall - without doors. The shower features recessed tiled shelves and an obscure glazed corner window to borrow natural light from the adjacent master bedroom. A corner window opposite visually connects the ensuite to a private courtyard garden outside. Mosaic tiles have been used to highlight the feature wall that separates the vanity from the toilet and shower behind. They have also been included in the recessed shower shelves. The vanity features a composite stone bench top with 2-pak paint finish to the doors and drawers of the cabinet itself. Undermount basins are serviced by wall-mounted taps. The mirrors above each basin conceal storage cupboards recessed into the wall to maximise the available storage space. Paul West Photography for Metroworks Architects
