Carefully mixing old and new pieces was important in this area of the home. We arranged a collection of paintings on the more visible side of a fireplace I designed, while gently concealing a flat screen to the other. While the art and artifacts displayed are to serve as points of louder interest, the rest of the interior was sought to remain quiet and supportive.
