The design of the sleek open kitchen was a collaboration between Allison and Katherine Hildebrand of Studio Kitchens & Design. They selected Kittchen Craft Cabinetry's flat Summit doors (made from maple & stained a charcoal hue) and door handles from Snaildero, achieving, says Hildebrand: "a contemporary, modern look." The backsplash, a zebra-wood laminate material, houses a pot filler from Wolseley, which supplied all the plumbing fixtures in the home.
