We COMPLETELY gutted this space and started again. The layout was the first issue to address - we moved the sink and the stove; changed it from a U shape kitchen to L shape WITH an island; changed the long wall to floor-to-ceiling (concealed fridge and breakfast bar, generous pantry). The style went from 90s to traditional Hamptons in a gorgeous powder blue. The fireclay sink and silver tapware lend a timeless elegance to the space.
