Maple Grove Contemporary Kitchen Remodel

Designed by Mark Benzell This late 70’s Bloomington suburban home had a confining ‘U’ shaped kitchen with outdated cabinetry and countertops. An adjoining informal dining area and family room also needed modernizing. The new configuration expanded the size of the kitchen, providing for a more open kitchen plan with vastly improved functionality. The family room was slightly downsized but better integrated into the kitchen and dining areas, allowing for a separate built-in buffet and countertop. Beautiful cherry cabinetry and Cambria countertops provide a rich contrast to oak hardwood floors.
