Dining room of Victorian row house in DC. A play on warm/cool; modern/traditional by keeping the frosting-like moldings which frame the fireplace mirror, and painting all the woodwork a soft white, which renders them beautiful and sculptural, instead of heavy and oppressive. Modern stone table, mid-century chairs coupled with the warm glow of the chandelier creates a lovely atmosphere.
