Under counter microwaves are an excellent option. It's safer to have your heated foods below you rather than above you reaching, and it's a great solution for having kids prepare snacks for themselves. It also hides the appliance in a more "built in" look, out of sight, out of the wall cabinets, and not sitting on the counter top!
