Lake Whatcom Log Home Remodel

The polished granite slab contains all the colors used in the finishes in the room, especially the deep red and the soft yellow of the bead-board cabinets and the mustard-colored glazed tile back splash. The antique-style plate rack is a custom design. The in-and-out and the up-and-down movement of the cabinet layout creates a dynamic yet balanced feeling to the kitchen. Rob Austin-Murphy photo
