Kosh Residence

Originally, this room did not have any blank walls to place the book shelf against, and placing the shelves anywhere away from the wall would divide the space, taking away from the feeling of openness. So, we positioned the book shelf in front of the glass which we proposed for air conditioning. This created a light visual barrier from the staircase behind. It was also intentionally made with sheet metal shelves, to avoid a back that would have blocked the greens outside and to keep it visually light.
