Islington Home

In the heart of London this Family Home has been lovingly stripped back to allow for a new mezzanine level and modern open plan living. Design Twenty Five worked in collaboration with Architect Robert Taylor to create the interior vision and aesthetics, bringing this London property warmth and character. Being open plan with a double height living area; the key was to emphasise features from the amazing architecture as well as creating a welcoming home. The beauty of this property is the juxtaposition between industrial details and elegant antiques which gives a unique look as well as that all important history. We love how the dramatic full height feature curtain falls in the living room adding warmth whilst helping to lower the acoustic levels. Thank you to our very talented friend Mika Nash from www.insleyandnash.com for making our vision work. With a complimentary colour palette throughout with moments of bold colour and texture, this London home reads seamlessly from the moment you walk in. With an eclectic mix of eras and timeless features throughout, this striking interior will stand the test of time. Photography by Richard Seymour: www.richardseymourphotographer.com
