Hume Apartment - Wormleybury

This beautiful apartment is part of an English Country House in rural Hertfordshire. The house, Wormleybury Manor, was built by Robert Mylne in 1767-69, and embellished by Robert Adam in 1777-79. The communal reception hall has painted roundels by Angelica Kauffman. This apartment is set within 40 acres of grounds, and has been decorated in classic/contemporary style, layering traditional silks and crushed velvets with modern artworks and oriental cabinetry. The sitting room is decorated with duck egg blue silk curtains, and taupe velvet sofas. The Georgian-style dining chairs are covered in blue chenille and the drinks cabinet is by JVB furniture.
