House On A Knoll

Featured in the “Energy Smart Homes” edition of Fine Homebuilding, House on a Knoll is a small, highly efficient home built near Bath, Maine in 2011. Based on our 1000 square-foot plan, it includes one bedroom, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen, living and dining space and a small study. The interior and exterior finishes are modest and sustainable, keeping focus on the spectacular views of the surrounding protected hardwood forest. photos by Brian Vanden Brink
