Honeywell Road Leaking Wet Room

This wet room shower had previously failed and water was damaging the bedroom below. The clients were looking for a long-term and guaranteed solution without having to remove the complete shower and floor. To minimise costs and disruption we decided to keep the marble slab-work on the walls. This necessitated the need to carefully cut away the lower perimeter of the marble wall slab-work thus allowing for access to completely remove the existing leaking marble tray while carrying out substrate preparation for the installation and tanking of the new walk-in wet room shower tray. The engineered timber flooring was carefully cut. Floor joists were strengthened and substrate prepared to meet the clients demands of having as low as possible level access. The existing glass shower panel was fixed onto a solid , level and tanked out quart strip running the length of the shower tray.
