We were lucky enough to be awarded this commission which involved substantial renovation to an existing waterfront property. The client allowed us to explore our own architectural direction which resulted in quite an elegant and refined outcome. Certain challenges in relation to access to the site restricted architectural avenues though in the end the areas like the cellar which was carved into solid sandstone have become a feature of the fitout. We enjoyed using refined materials such as slab marble, American White Oak Veneer, polished concrete and stainless steel to create a sophisticated outcome that we are very proud of. We look forward to continuing on with this project in the 3rd stage.
