Grange Road residence

This wonderfully quirky older home was certainly a challenge for the contractor. Uneven, sagging floors, and lathe and plaster ceiling all added to the challenge of bringing the home into the 21st century! Marmoleum floor tiles were used to add a "vintage" feel to the space, and also allowing for a quick clean up. The original floor plan did not allow for the addition of a dishwasher, so the sink was moved to the island, with the dishwasher. The clients also wanted to add a desk for surfing the internet and doing household chores like paying the bills.
