This Naperville, IL kitchen remodel began with an existing small L shape, almost completely filled by the appliances. The client was in desperate need of storage and counter space (she loves drawers, as you can see), as well as wanting a rich and stylish new look. To start, a third wall and closet were repurposed, and the two tall appliances (double oven and refrigerator) were built into this new space. Though the kitchen is still not large, this opened up the L portion of the kitchen tremendously; and the 42” tall wall cabinets added much-needed storage. Besides loving the rich wood tones of the Talora Clear Alder cabinetry, and her new more functional layout, the client’s favorite is her display piece. The phone was relocated to this area, where the client uses the 4 top drawers as her office space. The lovely wall cabinet with leaded glass adds beauty and interest to this highly functional space. “I’ve cooked more this past year than ever before!” she reports. We are thrilled she is enjoying her new kitchen.
