Gibson Island Haven

The location for the fire pit was carefully chosen: Not only does it provide a nice-size spot on the edge for many to gather, it’s a part of the yard that allows a piece of water view. The stone retaining wall and its custom plantings forms a natural, curving boundary defining the outdoor room, adjusting for the slight grade of the yard and giving a cohesive feel to the long length of the space.
