The timber panel under the sink is Jarrah, and was used purely as a feature to complement the Jarrah island in this kitchen - see the entire kitchen on our profile, in album 'Fremantle (EWJ11)'. The cabinetry below is sufficient support for the sink so it is not a requirement. The granite is Verde Maritaca San Francisco.
