Fondis Stove in Open Planned Kitchen

Name of the project or company: Fondis Ulys 900 Double Sided Location: Buckie, Scotland Architect: Contractor: Greenflame Installations worked closely with the customer’s builder and architect to meet the brief. Timescale: Working alongside the other tradesmen onsite Greenflame met the timescales given by the client in a quick and timely manner. Design brief: The customer contacted us as she was building a new house and was looking for an efficient stove to enhance her living space. Features of the project: After discussing all the different options with the customer she decided on a double sided Fondis Ulys 900 insert stove. A highly efficient wood burning stove with full glass doors which slide up into the wall creating the contemporary and minimalist look the client was after. Working with the builder on site we created a dividing wall between the customer’s kitchen and hall to house the double sided stove. Specialist board was used around the fireplace which is completely fireproof and insulating. Once the walls had been plastered and decorated we went back to fit the frames. The finished result was a beautifully clean looking fireplace which the customer was very happy with.
