Farmhouse Door Desk

This project started with our clients 100 year old farmhouse doors. We sanded and rubbed the doors to expose several layers of paint and wood, then clear coated to really accent them. The base was made from solid hardwood, finished with Benjamin Moore China White paint. We then sanded, clear coated and hand rubbed with pumice powder to create a silk feeling. The drawers were hand dovetailed, constructed from wormy maple, and waxed.
