Downingtown Residence

This approximately 2,000 square foot addition consists of three floors and provides a new, more usable entrance to connect all three floors. The entry foyer that was created makes use of passive solar heating to warm the interior of the house, but also provides sunscreens for the summer time. The program included a master suite on the top floor, a living area on the main floor, and a finished basement on the lower level.
