Contemporary with Beachy Vibe

The family room has beautiful stacking sliding doors t let the outside in. The homeowner wanted to diffuse some of the light if the family was watching tv, without impeding the beautiful golf course view. We added vertical solar panels that stack to the right when not in use. To soften the room I added gauzy cotton sheers from floor to ceiling to frame the doors. The homeowner enjoys the beach and has added those elements throughout her home so we finished off the room with a rustic teak root cube topped with a shell lamp with a double shade.
