Color!

This island is done in a distressed black finish - contrasting the white of the perimeter cabinets. I really like the bun feet and the carved valance! The continuous trim at the bottom ties the open shelves to the body of the island and highlights the feet - I was told by the installer that it was difficult to do seamlessly - definately worth it!
