Chestnut Residences, Edmonds + Lee Architects

This new 4-story, ground-up building is a 3-unit multi-family condominium building located on Chestnut Street in the Marina district of San Francisco. The four-story building relates in scale to the existing context of the neighborhood but is set in contrast with the prevailing Marina style buildings common in the area. Designed with contemporary detailing in mind, the front facade consists of cement board panel rain screen cladding and floor-to-ceiling operable glass windows and doors to allow for ample light and ventilation to the residential units above.
