Bright Splashy Rug for Muted Living Room

A sparse living room needed a way to keep in line with the light and dark grays of the furniture, but add a pop of color as well. The solution was found in this large hand-knotted rug. Taking a traditional design but using only an orange tone on a light grey base and deconstructing the pattern, we end up with a contemporary looking rug that fits perfectly in this bright living area.
