Bolingbrook, IL - Light and Airy

Even though this kitchen doesn’t have a window, there is ample light pouring in from other areas of the home. Our goal was to maximize the light, and create a space that felt open and airy. We used Kemper ‘Echo” maple cabinets in a classic Shaker style, in a subtle gray paint called Limestone. This clean, simple door style helps keep this smaller space from feeling busy. The cabinets were kept below the ceiling to help emphasize the open feeling we were after. The granite countertops are in the Azul Platino color, which gives us great grays, creams, and taupe to coordinate with. The glass backsplash adds sparkle and texture, as do the many silver metal accents. A bright and welcoming transformation!
