Ala Moana

The remote location of the property presented some unique challenges when it came to obtaining materials and equipment. All of the swimming pool equipment had to be purchased in Melbourne and then shipped up to Shute Harbour on the coast of mainland Queensland. The equipment then had to be loaded on to a barge which could navigate the shallow reefs and be transported out to the harbour at Hamilton Island.
