Acacia Residence

The kitchen is in an addition to the rear of the original stone house. The exterior stone wall was left completely intact and was enveloped by the addition. The kitchen features teak and lacquered cabinets with the island made of walnut with maple inserts and a statuario marble top. The slate backsplash which is used for writing shopping lists was created from recycled blackboards from a nearby school that was being renovated.
