1950's condo get an update

This cramped condo kitchen has orginal metal cabinets, vinyl floor, outdated wiring, failing appliances, and little to no countertop space. After living with it for 4 years I knew exactly what I needed to change to open up the cramped space for entertaining. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed and the sink was relocated as much as possible to allow for the new fridge location and a pull out wastebasket to the right. The large pot and pan drawers flanking the slide-in-range maximize storage for cookware etc. The custom detail to the right of the fridge allows the door to open fully and provides storage for cutting boards and wine in a unique way. The inegrated drain in the honed quartz countertops allows dishes to dry without the fuss of a drainboard. The expansize countertop to the left is perfect for rolling dough and baking. All in the new space is a 100% imporvement to the small condo!
