A master bath remodel involved opening a solid wall and changing it to glass. This subsequently changed the location of the shower head and faucets. Unfortunately they ended up directly across from the door so you must undress, fully step into the shower, close the door, then turn on the water and try to squeeze to the side to avoid the first stream of cold water! You can’t turn the water on to warm up before entering. Costly and cold.

@Cora I’m with you on the toilet between the vanity & shower! I prefer the toilet tucked away.. not necessarily in its own little closet, but at least separated by a wall of some sort. We’re renovating a small master bath at our vacation cabin, and we literally took over a small closet for the toilet room. It’s not completely closed off but separated from the vanity and shower. The closet puts the toilet on an outside wall, so we’re adding a small 2x3 window (that looks out into the forest!).
