Not in love with the hardware

Q

Photo

Nice combo of hidden (cabinet) storage + shelves for pics and books, lights, ladder is cool

Q

Photo

Clean lines, functional, cool lights included; Marc thinks shelves feel too thick; would need more shelves for books.

Q

Photo

Two things attracted me to this photo - clean lines and both Marc and I think the ladder is a cool / unique touch.

I think I flagged this photo as an example of shelves that were not "matchy matchy" - the shelves to the left and right of the entertainment center do not match. My primary concern with shelves throughout the house is that I want storage, but I also want to maintain an airy / breezy / flowy vibe. I don't want the house "dragged down" but too many dark shelving colors (though, up to Michelle's expertise, I am not opposed to dark shelves, but maybe there's a hybrid solution). They don't necessarily have to be bright white, either. - Jo

Feels clean, bright and comfortable.

This screams "functional" to me - storage underneath, with areas for books / pictures on top. I can imagine a hybrid working for us in the library and loft areas.

Q

Photo

Like floor to ceiling; like crown molding; feels functional. ignore gaudy furniture.

Q

Love the contrast here. Clean. Bright. Open yet still feels warm and inviting.

Q

Photo

I just flagged this one as a concept for an open library - cozy yet bright. Shelves are a bit mundane / uniform.

Q

Photo

Small desk space is a nice touch. But shelves feel standalone but they are still interesting

This feels interesting to look at. Also like the custom vibe, the lighting in the shelves is a cool touch. We also want to explore a small desk space in the open library area with you. Like hardware here.
