I like the idea of having a garden at the center of one’s home. It’s very Christian. Atriums are really hard to pull of well in my opinion though - they often look very tacky, interior the flow of the home, become gross, or are not spaced well. I would say shoot for two atrium type / contained outdoor space in a house. Maybe one in the middle of the home and one in the back
I like irregular windows like this
I like the door. I really like accent doors. In this case, I really like the contrast of the white exterior to the matte black metal looming door
Awesome. Simple and gets the job done
Absolutely incredible
Absolutely, 100% perfect. Sold, take me there now. This is beyond perfect
I like the tile
Me gusta
Idk if I like it or not, but it is a kitchen with a sliding glass door
I like the space and it’s fine as a dining area, but I’d probably turn it into a sitting/reading/study area
I really like that particular stone sink
Could you imagine installing a cello mount. That’d be sick. I also just really like the extremely rugged texture - it reminds you Alf where the building has been even though it is refurbished now
Inspiring project. I wasn’t really blown away by anything in particular, but overall I appreciated both the interior and exterior.
Utterly. Freaking. Gorgeous. This is like a glimpse into my heart. The perfect balance of honey, cozy, functionality, design. From the materials to the layout, the lighting. It looks like home
I would definitely put a desk or some more furniture to make a better use of the space
I like the boldness, but I think I would have gone with a light/mid toned herringbone floor to give it some coziness. Love the obscure glass sliding cabinet doors
Looks really hip, and unique. Sleek and young adult feeling
Love the indoor out door living set up
Not sure how practice it is, but really like the space
Now this project is what I’m talking about. This hits so many of my personal goals: restoration of an ancient property while staying true to its historic materials, making it feel modern and ancient simultaneously, artistic, textual, and seemingly practical yet unique
REALLY like the contrast of this particular concrete and wood colors
Interesting color, and I kind of like the really sleek, simple design
Good stuff going for it
Omg, mom would absolutely love this
Looks like fun, cozy, welcoming space
Beautiful. Love the herringbone floors, brick accent wall, light fixtures, and the sliding door to close it off
Interesting
Beautiful property. Look at all the photos
I like the bedroom portion bc of the brick wall and bookshelf. Not sure what I think about the exposed bathroom. I’m usually not a fan
Look at the pics for this entire house!! I love so much about this house, but primarily it’s ambitious goal of seamlessly merging ancient and modern design/material. In this house, I feel like it’s the most boigze flnstone house ever
Welcoming, nice
Now THAT is a workspace. That is what I’m talking about - large open desk space, well lit with natural and artificial lighting, and conducive to the work being done. Having a studio like this separate from the house would be sick
Why did I immediately think she looked like that rabbit.
I like this space a lot actually. First off, I love the giant chalk board. I want one. Next, I like how the kitchen is right off the entrance and how there’s a window in the diving wall to let in natural light. Also, having the kitchen right there makes bringing grooves in a lot easier
Neat space. I like the seat constructed from a palette
Fun bookshelf
Nice vibe. Good for convos or movie night
Love it. Simple yet different and interesting
Cool back patio for hangouts and discussions. Maybe a little wider/bigger would be good
Cool
Love the sliding door
Beautiful, relaxing, serene
Neat flat for single or couple
I like the yellow concrete/stone looking wall material
