I personally LOVE the lights above the island here and the countertops. Chairs won't work because our countertops are too high and we do NOT want chairs that will end up blue from jeans or fake leather that cracks. We get a lot of use out of our island chairs.

Cabinet color is beautiful and also like the centre island being the darker wood as a contrast. Lights over island are also nice. I think this color scheme would still work well with our travertine floors.
