Even this Andrew is now fine with this. His point - that he just made clear to me - the less you can see it the better because I don't like it, but I don't like anything else better that fits with the quality/level of house we want. So the more the subway tile and grout look just like a white wall and barely notice the tile, the happier he will be. Now it all makes sense

I think this is the thirds thing. Andrew doesn't think he cares about the sizing, he just wants white on white. Even this one he doesn't like with the off white/tan grout and white tile

Andrew likes the subway tile when the grout matches and doesn't make it stand out, "more seamless". He cares more about that than the size.
