Perfect example of how tile paint and lighting can brighten up a room and add to the beaut of the space.

Beautiful color. Especially with oak cabinets.

Lovely color that goes with the color scheme I have in mind for your 1st floor.

These cabinets are darker than your cabinets however here's a perfect example. If this tile was dark this room would have a totally different feel all together. This case the subway tile installed helps brightens the whole entire space even though the cabinets are dark and the walls are gray.

Here is example of undercabinet lighting and how it brightens the room. This of course is a lighter kitchen. I'm going to also add an example of a darker kitchen with undercabinet lighting.

A beautiful neutral gray that would look lovely with your cabinet. Not only will it look lovely with your cabinets, as I mentioned before, the color combos that I'm thinking about would blend perfectly with this gray. Again your kitchen from what I saw seems to be the focal and gathering point of your space.

This one of my FAVORITE blues for the kitchen or bathrooms. See how it brightens the room?

This grey is not too blue, not too lilac, and not to taupe. The placement of the lighting as well will also brighten up the space. Often times people overlook the lighting. Lighting and Hanses paint and I'm not sure in your kitchen from the images that I've seen if you lighting under the cabinets. This will go great with your oak cabinets as well.

This is an example of how you can use reflective tile to maximize the natural and the light from fixtures in your kitchen. Zoom in to see the tile below the range hood. Not saying that this has to be the color but this gives you an idea of how reflective tile can add the illusion of more light.
