dark counter tops on white cabinets

Q

Photo

back splash

Q

Photo

also an interesting backsplash tile pattern

Q

Photo

love

Q

Photo

love that island

Q

Photo

like this better and better the longer I look at it

Q

Photo

:)

Q

Photo

really like this...tile, hardware, dark wood/white mix (and vase/branch, too :) )

Q

Photo

Unique tile pattern....like the mix of white and walnut.

Q

Photo

tile

Q

Photo

not the light fixtures.....

Q

Photo

furniture--ottomans under sofa table, sofa floating in living space

Q

Photo

Drawer inserts

Q

Photo

white cabinets/dark island, floors, appliances, backsplash tile

Q

Photo
Photo

Wow.

Q

Photo

countertop, cabninets, table, furniture groupings/relationships.

Q

Photo

Least fave here is the table, though I do like it in this context

Q

Product

Contemporary Remodel

Q

Dark and light, floor, tile, bright natural light, cabinets. I think I like Shaker cabinets. Didn't know that term before looking at all of these photos.

Q

Photo

dark butcher block with white, floors, lighting. don't like the silver candlesticks and fussy accessories.

Q

Photo

Storage under a banquette could be super useful....IF the seating was still comfortable.

Q

Photo

Interesting. No sure if I'd want this, but pretty cool.

Q

Photo

Floor, chunk of dark butcher block, cabinets, lighting, appliances.

Q

Photo

I read an article here on Houzz that talked about how sometimes a penisula is better than I island. I'm totally open to peninsula if that's a better solution for our space. I like these drawers on the end of peninsula, seem like they might be easier access than drawer/cabinets that are behind seating (like we have now in the 'grand piano' part of the island)

Q

Photo

black/white mixed with warm

Q

Photo
Photo

cabinets, floors, lighting, counters

Q

Photo

dark 'butcher block' countertop on island, cabinets

Q

Photo

contrast, clean, bright, lighting, tile

Q

Photo

I'd use a different color tile, but like overall

Q

Photo

pendants, floor, 'look'

Q

Photo

It's clean, but it 'goes' (at least to me) with six panel doors and crown moulding.

Q

Photo

Natural light, lighting pendants (both types), feels spacious, flooring, mix of the flooring with the cabinet/counter/appliance colors, tile

Q

Photo

tile, pendants, cabinets

Q

Photo

scott suggested storing dinnerware and cutlery all in drawers, away from the 'work triangle' of the kitchen, to reduce traffic jams during cooking/mealtimes.

Q

Photo

walnut and white

Q

Photo

tile, pendants, cabinets it's a little 'cool,' but I still like it...especially if warmed up just a little.

Q

Photo

layout? I like the idea of the separate 'beverage station' like in one of the example concept drawings Rebecca showed me.

Q

Photo

tile. 'look'

Q

Photo

bright. pendant lights.

Q

Photo

Do NOT like the horse-looking ottoman thing, but like the corner banquette and how bright everything is.

Q

Photo

interesting dark/light mix of cabinets and countertops

Q

Photo

yep, ok, I think I like butcher block if it's darker this this. but durability??

Q

Photo

I like the look of this wooden countertop, too....so maybe I just don't like the 1980's 'butcher block' that I picture when I hear 'butcher block?' Or maybe this is something different? I love walnut....but it doesn't seem like a durable countertop choice, does it??

Q

Photo

I HATE our lower spinning cabinet thing. It gets filthy back there, and I can't reach into it to clean it out. Things fall off the rack and are lost forever, too, because I can't reach them. This might be a better solution? Or something else, but I don't like the spinner.

Q

Photo

pendant lights

Q

Photo

cabinets, bright, look of that wood or wood-look counter on the right against the white cabinet

Q

Photo

a better way to use our pantry space??

Q

Photo

tile

Q

Photo

Sink, tile, cabinets

Q

Photo

Light!! Colors, light fixture, floor, pillows...I love this!!

Q

Photo

Contrast, counter/cabinet unit

Q

Photo

Floor, outdoor access!

Q

Photo

Pendant lights.

Q

Photo

Floor, cabinets, tile, natural light.

Q

Photo

Tile, contrast, light/dark

Q

Photo

Cabinets. Not sure how or why or if this 'fits' with other things I pinned...but caught my eye.

Q

Photo

Contrast-few dark wood pieces with overall light/white

Q

Photo

Light fixture, tile, cabinets

Q

Photo

Tile. Maybe not that color, but the look.

Q

Photo

Open/connected to dining room while still having separation.

Q

Photo

Tile, sink, shelves

Q

Photo

Long counter surface

Q

Photo

Natural light! Floor, window covering, cabinets, counter, sink. Flow to informal eating, bench/table. Backsplash.

Q

Photo

Glass door....to a deck/screen porch/ four season porch or some combo of these!

Q

Photo

Lighting, natural light, cabinets, back splash (maybe not the color, but the tile), shelves, flooring

Q

Photo

Light above banquette, banquette, natural light! One concern or thought about banquettes....Scott and I are both larger people...wouldn't want it to be functionally hard to use/uncomfortable.

Q

Photo

Cabinets
