i don't like the furniture or patterns at all, BUT I like something about the blues and the blues with the grey...(the blue is a little "off" for me, but the overall idea and it is pretty) :) maybe family room couch/seating inspiration

i love this lighting, but i am guessing too modern for the hubby yeah i was thinking something like this for entry but may be too modern for him. however it balances out with the traditional console table......

Love how it all goes- similar layout with kitchen, dining room & family room all being SO open to one another. Love the flow, not the details necessarily, although its obviously beautiful. **I DO LOVE the cabinets and countertop for future kitchen YES of course! we are going to make your house flow !!! hahaha

here you can see the difference with the grey walls vs white and a lighter wood floor

and here is another dark floor but not as dark as the first. so i think you need to buy different stains and test them out on your floor... am i helping you with this? or is your contractor?
