Tower

Wood cross beams supporting a tower made of cor-ten steel, plus stonework on the bottom. I am thinking of putting the wooden beams on the interior of our tower. The original plan was to clad the tower in cor-ten steel.

Gives the same approach vibes as our original intent: an old mining building with a modern addition. Uses cor-ten steel for a rustic industrial feel plus modern interior.

I love the mixed materials and the feeling of age and authenticity but still tied into modern feel: the lentels would match our existing alder woodwork. The lentils look functional and therefore purposeful. It gives a feeling of coolness and comfort without feeling cold.

I love the craftsman (arts & crafts) style of the stairs and the clerestory windows. I don't like how formal it feels.

Love the warm colors of the paint and wood, plus the stone/mixed materials. It offers a bit of a rustic feel. I don't like the animal skin rug, nor the too rustic window trims.

Love the mixed materials and the warm colors of the paint and wood pulling you into the upstairs space, plus the cool colors of the metal walls. I feel this is a bit too 'modern' feeling for our house, but it is in the right area.

Absolutely love the mining feel of this with the red lights and dark colors, but still feels bright enough to exist. This is an amazing vibe.

This has a really nice blend of rustic mining/industrial with modern feel to it, which is the original inspiration for our overall house design.
