LT: Oooh...I like this island idea...and we could bring the wood feel into the family room to tie it together. I like how the island is at bar height and the table is lower. I'd like the table to be larger and not run the length of the island.

Typically I don't like the farmhouse sink but it's cool in stainless
LT: Like the warmth of the cabinets and the size of the island. As well as the floor! Don't like the lights, back splash or the island counter top.

LT: Like the oven configuration and the stove stop separate. Would want a microwave instead of two ovens. Like the sink a lot and the white cabinets. Not opposed to these large cabinets as they are a good size for food storage.

I don't like it floating but this is a thought for connecting a table with the island LT: I am with Scott. It is an interesting idea. Still looking for more pics of way to attach a table without floating

LT: Cool idea on electronics in the kitchen but not throughout the entire area. Maybe if we do this, we focus by where we would drop mail, etc.
LT: Not sure how I feel about this. Love the white cabinets and the floors. The island is a bit overwhelming in size. I don't know if the large size is a good substitute for a table.
LT: I don't like this kitchen...maybe the floors are cool, but it doesn't draw me in.
LT: Like the contrasting island and the use of paint against the white cabinets. Think that the combo of white, the floor color and island color look nice together. Like the sink and the dishwasher...not into the lights.
Looks sort of like our layout. Like the French doors and colors LT: I like this very much. Love the lights and how this feels. Agree on the french doors! Not sure that the stove needs to be so dramatic and the sink on the island is not functional for us. I do like that the sink is set into the counter top.
